A Special Veterans Month Tribute
As a U.S. Army veteran and the owner of Home Service Heroes, Veterans Month holds a special place in my heart. This November, we’re doing more than just acknowledging the sacrifices of our veterans – we’re celebrating them and giving back in a meaningful way.
Throughout the month of November, Home Service Heroes will be highlighting local veterans on our social media platforms and donating a portion of every service booked to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation. This cause is incredibly close to my heart, and I’m proud to partner with T2T to support our heroes who have sacrificed so much for our country.
Why Tunnels to Towers Matters to Me
The Tunnels to Towers Foundation was established by the Siller family in honor of their brother, Stephen, a New York City firefighter who died in the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Since then, T2T has made it their mission to support veterans, first responders, and their families in a variety of powerful ways, including:
- Building Mortgage-Free Homes: T2T builds smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. They also provide homes to Gold Star families – families who have lost a loved one in service to our country – and to families of fallen first responders with young children.
- Helping Homeless Veterans: T2T offers housing assistance to homeless veterans, ensuring that they get the support they need to regain their footing.
- Raising Awareness: Through events like the Tower Climb, T2T keeps the memory of our fallen heroes alive and ensures that the public never forgets the sacrifices made by so many. they also raise funds through charity runs to continue supporting veterans and first responders.
As a veteran-owned business, I know how important it is to give back to those who served. The work that T2T is doing to help veterans, and first responders is truly inspiring, and it’s a cause I’m honored to support.
